Texas 42 is a domino game for four players in two teams, where the goal is to be the first team to reach seven "marks" (250 points) by bidding and winning tricks, with points awarded for tricks and specific sessiondominoes. There are various strategies to winning. Each player brings $5 to ante to the pot. Winning team wins 60%. Worst team wins 40% of the pot.
We play the first Wednesday of the month at the Desoto Club, from 1 to 4 PM.
For new players, a training session is MANDATORY before playing. It takes some time to develop your knowledge of the game, but that adds to the excitement of beating your opponents.
For new player instruction or more information, contact Walt Black at 512-983-2894, or waltblack100@gmail.com.
Registration required to determine the number of players and tables.
