Boomers Rock Golf Scramble

Boomers Golf, will be starting up again on April 23rd at the Isabella Golf Course. Our designated Sunday is the 4^th  Sunday of the month.

We tried something new the last few months last year and that was each member of the foursome had to have (1) drive vs the step aside. That was an overwhelming preference so we will continue that this year. The maximum number of drivers for any player in the group will be four. Regardless of age, men will hit from the silver tees and women from the gold tees.

IMPORTANT:  WE HAVE A 3:00 PM SHOTGUN START EVERY SUNDAY REGARDLESS OF THE COURSE- YOU MUST BE CHECKED IN BY 2:30 OR YOU MAY FORFIET YOUR CHANCE TO PLAY. THE COURSE BLOCKS OFF TIME FOR US SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE THERE ON TIME AND READY TO GO. THERE ARE ALWAYS LAST MINUTE ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED .PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE HAVE TO HAVE EVERYONES COOPERATION ON THIS.

The rest of the rules from last year are pretty much in play.

Four person scramble;  2-putt max once you are on the green.

If you have to CANCEL: DO NOT CALL THE GOLF COURSE - CALL OR TEXT Mike Webster at 501-209-5476. Please do not call or text Dave Banaszynski or JoAnn.

We will make every attempt to put you in a foursome with different people each week,(other than your spouse or partner if requested)  so please don’t request a foursome as we can’t allow that to happen. We are a social group out to play some golf and have fun.

We love to socialize afterwards so plan on hanging around and telling your best shot golf stories for an hour or so.

There will be a fee of $5 for prizes, including closest to the pin holes for men and women. Participants pay the $5 when registering online, and each person is responsible for the cost of their golf.

We need your average score for (9) holes. Please be honest as that is our guide for creating teams that will be fun but competitive.

If there are only 3 players on a team, a "Bubba" will fill out the foursome. "Bubba" will hit the fourth shot for the team on each hole, the entire hole, and the player "Bubba" will rotate among the three players. Each of the team's three players will be the "Bubba" on three (3) holes each.

After playing the last hole, return to the clubhouse and give your scorecard to Mike or Dave, and join your friends for beverages and food, while scores are tallied and prizes are awarded.
