15th Annual Village Walk for Cancer Research

Please join your fellow Boomers as we walk with our community in this great Village event. We all have had cancer touch our lives with family members, friends or ourselves fighting this terrible disease. 

15th Annual Village Walk for Cancer Research

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2016 

Opening ceremonies start at 7:30 A.M.  Rain or Shine

Starting at the Balboa Pavilion, 476 Ponce de Leon Drive

Walk the Balboa and Hernando Trails! (5 miles)

Early Registration ~ $30

After August 12th ~ $35

(Registration includes t-shirt)

Event proceeds benefit: UAMS Winthrop R. Rockefeller Cancer Institute

~ Free fruit, water, coffee, hot dogs and brats

~ Door prizes, bake sale, and silent auction    

We ask you to register twice for this event. 

You must register on the Village Walk for Cancer Research website and pay in order to participate and receive your t-shirt. When you register on their site, make sure to put Boomers Rock on the Group name line.

We also ask you to register for this event on the Boomers Rock website so that we can more easily organize our group.
